Description
The building was opened on 4th May 1854.
On the 1st Feb 1905 a rebuilt church was opened to the designs of Heaton, Ralph & Heaton, after the previous building needed serious renovations. The church finally closed and had the final service on the 14th September 1969.
The congregation moved to Scarisbrick St, Swinley.
Sir Ian McKellen made his acting debut in the church. Listen
